Deficit on external trade in goods amounts to EUR 91 mln in Feb

The value of exports was 18% and that of imports 29% larger in EUR terms in February 2022 than in the same period of the previous year, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The balance of external trade in goods deteriorated by EUR 876 million compared to February 2021.

The value of exports amounted to EUR 11.403 bln and that of imports to EUR 11.494 bln.

The deficit on external trade in goods was EUR 91 million.

The share of EU Member States was 76% in exports and 69% in imports.

Compared to January 2022, the level of goods exports rose by 9.5% and that of goods imports by 7.9%.
