Croatia trade gap widens in Jan-July

Croatia's trade deficit increased to HRK 39.889 billion (EUR 5.3 billion) in the first seven months of 2021, compared with a gap of HRK 37.460 billion in the same period of 2020, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday, citing preliminary data.

Exports rose 24.7% on the year to HRK 77.568 billion in the seven months through July, while imports grew 17.9% to HRK 117.475 billion, it said.
