MNB Int'l Reserves Rise EUR 2.23 bln in September

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 38.74 bln at the end of September, up EUR 2.23 bln from a month earlier, state news wire MTI writes, citing data released by the central bank on Friday.

Stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves rose EUR 2.3 bln to EUR 30.764 bln during the month.

The value of monetary gold in the reserves edged down EUR 54 million to EUR 5.166 bln.

MNB's international reserves were EUR 363 mln over their level at the end of 2021.
