MNB int'l reserves fall EUR 430 mln in January

The international reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 33.248 billion at the end of January, down EUR 430 million from a month earlier, state news wire MTI reports citing data released by the central bank on Friday.

The international reserves were EUR 6.403 bln higher than twelve months earlier, lifted by a combined EUR 6.5 bln in FX government bond issues on international markets in 2020.

There were no big issues or expiries of FX government bonds on international markets in January.
