Serbian public debt slightly rises in Aug

Serbia's public debt stood at EUR 28.47 billion at the end of August, accounting for 54.3% of GDP, state news agency Tanjug reported citing data released by the Finance Ministry.

The August public debt was up by EUR 110 million relative to July and its share in the national GDP rose by 0.2 percentage points month-on-month.

At the end of 2020, Serbia's public debt was at EUR 26.66 billion and accounted for 57.4% of GDP.
