Bulgaria reports EUR 2.76 bln budget deficit in 2020

Bulgaria's general government institutional sector reported a deficit of BGN 4.06 billion (EUR 2.76 billion) or 3.4% of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020, official statistics revealed.
According to preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute, the sub-sector central government reported a deficit of BGN 4.551 billion (EUR 2.33 billion) for last year.
