MBH Bank issued MREL [minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities]-eligible bonds with a nominal value of EUR 350 million, the lender said yesterday, according to penzcentrum.hu.

MBH Bank had planned to issue EUR 300 mln of the bonds but raised the issue amount after investors made offers to subscribe to around EUR 600 mln of the securities.

Around half of the four-year bonds were subscribed by international capital market players, it added.

MBH Bank is Hungary's second-biggest commercial lender, with total assets of more than HUF 10.445 trillion.
