Companies Borrow Close to HUF 300 bln in June

Non-financial companies took out net HUF 296 billion of loans from Hungarian banks in June, state news wire MTI reports citing monthly data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on Tuesday.
Forint loans made up a little more than two-thirds of net borrowing.
Banks' corporate lending stock rose to HUF 12.201 trillion at the end of the month.
Companies make net withdrawals of HUF 27 bln during the month, mostly from FX deposits. Deposit stock still rose, to HUF 14.425 tln, as the weaker forint boosted FX deposits.
