CIB group profits double in 2021
After-tax profit of CIB group, the Hungarian lender of Intesa Sanpaolo, climbed 114% to HUF 15.8 billion last year, an earnings report shows, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Net interest income increased 42% to HUF 46.2 bln and net revenue from commissions and fees rose 5% to HUF 28.3 bln.
Lending provisions were up 20% at HUF 5.4 bln.
CIB group had total assets of HUF 2.783 trillion at the end of December, up 15% from a year earlier.
The stock of client loans rose 5% to HUF 1.269 tln. Client deposits increased 17% to HUF 2.019 tln.
