The Hungarian unit of German high-quality industrial-glass company Schott AG will invest HUF 10 billion to expand its plant in Lukácsháza by the year 2016, the company told MTI on Thursday. The company said that it had already completed a machine-renovation plant in the first phase of the expansion. The company said it hired 30 new employees to work at the new machine-renovation plant, noting that it received government support of an unspecified amount for construction of the plant. The company currently employs 530 workers at its production base in Lukácsháza.
