Poppe and Potthoff Hungária Bt invested €3 million at the unit in Hungary in order to fill the contract. It also received Ft 190 million in state subsidies for the project because of new jobs created as a result. The company expects the unit to generate revenue of €47 million in 2006, well over 2005’s revenue of €29 million. Poppe and Potthoff employs 250 people at its plant in Hungary, half of its global workforce.
