The Hungarian city of Miskolc’s district heating company on Wednesday inaugurated a HUF 500m biogas plant. European Union funding covered about HUF 200m of the cost of the plant. The plant will heat more than 300 flats in a housing estate in the city. It will also generate electricity. (BBJ)
