Germany’s Diehl Aircabin has started production at an aircraft parts manufacturing base in Nyírbátor (NE Hungary), the local council’s advisor for investments told MTI on Tuesday.
Diehl Aircabin is investing €5 million at the base over three years, said Antal Máté.
The plant will make sidewalls and ventilation systems for Airbus and Boeing a well as Eurocopter and Embraer aircraft.
Production is starting with a single shift of 70 workers, but two more shifts, also with 60 workers each, are expected to start within a year, Máté said.
Annual revenue of the base is expected to reach €15 million.
