Creaton Hungary managing director Tibor Schmidt said he expects Belgian parent company Etex Group to soon authorize construction of the planned 13,000-square-meter production hall, which will be outfitted to produce pantile.
Creaton Hungary, which operates as the Hungarian unit of Creaton AG, generated revenue of more than Ft 2 billion in 2005 and expects its 2006 turnover to reach Ft 3 billion. Creaton is Hungary’s second-largest manufacturer of ceramic roof tile, currently employing 50 people at its Lenti plant with the additional production hall to create 65 more jobs.
