German-owned farm machinery maker Claas Hungária on Monday inaugurated an industrial rail line at its plant in Törökszentmiklós (E Hungary) and laid the cornerstone of a research and development base.

The rail line connects the plant to main Budapest-Záhony line, running to the border with the Ukraine.

Claas Hungária won a HUF 354m state and European Union grant for the R&D base.
