Regional bus company Kapos Volan, a member of the state-owned Volan group, has called a tender for a HUF 5.5 billion loan to buy vehicles in the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette.

The bus purchases will be made within the framework of the Hungarian Development Bank’s (MFB) public transport development loan program.The tender is for a ten-year loan with a two-year grace period. Annual interest on the loan is to be no more than 4 percentage points over the three-year EURIBOR (1.608% at present) plus the refinancing spread

Self-financing of the vehicles, which may include European Union or state grants, is to be 10%.
