The owner of Tokaj Kereskedőház, the Hungarian National Asset Management Company (MNV), approved in September a HUF 1.5 billion capital raise at the company to serve a full-scale modernization.
Prime Minister’s Office State Secretary János Lázár said the government would discuss by the end of November a Tokaj world heritage program that would support developments by the 27 local councils in the region.
The Tokaj wine-growing region is included among the UNESCO World Heritage List.
