The chairman noted that out of the 4,337 cases the board dealt with last year, 4,242 cases were settled, including some which were carried over from the previous year, according to reports. In 40% of the cases, the affected parties reached agreements, while 84% of the recommendations offered by the board were accepted by the parties in dispute. 

Baranovszky noted that since changes were made to consumer protection legislation in September, companies have been more cooperative, according to reports.
