Majority of Poles support the construction of NPP in Poland
As much as 74% of Poles support the construction of nuclear power plants in Poland, according to a study commissioned by the Ministry of Climate and Environment in November 2021, news agency PAP reports.
Twenty percent of respondents are against it. At the same time, 58% of respondents would agree that such a power plant should be built in the vicinity of their place of residence.
These are the best results in the history of research carried out since 2012. Attention is drawn to the fact that as much as 82% of respondents express the opinion that the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland is a good way to increase the country's energy security, which means an increase of 9 percentage points compared to the previous year.
