The project will be installed near Zajaczkowo in the north-western part of Poland with a total output of 48 MW, will become one of the largest wind power plants in the country. The order has been placed by the project company Zajaczkowo Windfarm Sp. Z o.o. formed by Mitsui and J-Power, Japan. Mitsui and J-Power have developed wind power plants both in and outside Japan with a total accumulated capacity of more than 178 MW and 275 MW. The Polish order comprises supply and installation of the wind power plant, including software and a long-term maintenance and service agreement. Delivery of the turbines will start in November 2007, with commissioning scheduled for the H1 of 2008. No financial details were released.
