Futureal Energy Partners has entered a strategic partnership with Finnish renewable‑energy developer Aurinkokarhu Oy to accelerate large‑scale solar, battery energy storage system and hybrid investments across Finland, the company announced.
The joint portfolio totals 3 GW of mid‑stage projects, including 1,855 MW and 7,420 MWh of BESS developments, 1,188 MW of solar capacity and several hybrid systems combining generation with storage. The cooperation builds on the companies’ earlier Tuovila BESS transaction completed in 2025 and will involve financing and developing multiple standalone and hybrid sites nationwide.
About 1.1 GW of the projects are expected to reach ready‑to‑build status in 2026, while the remaining capacities are scheduled to do so between 2027 and 2028. FEP says the expansion strengthens its position in the Nordic energy market and supports long‑term regional growth.
