Polish renewable developer PGE Energia Odnawialna, a subsidiary of the PGE Group, has completed construction on two photovoltaic (PV) farms, Gutki and Gutki 2, with a combined capacity of 12 MW in Podlaskie Voivodeship, northeastern Poland, local portal Wnp.pl reported.
The installations, consisting of around 22,000 monocrystalline panels covering 15.7 hectares (38.8 acres), are expected to produce over 14 GWh (gigawatt-hour) of electricity annually, powering approximately 7,000 households.
The construction received preferential loans of PLN 13.9 million (USD 3.19 million) each from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, covering over 60% of the investment cost and repayable over 15 years.
