In the first 24 hours after the opening of the new phase of the Solar Energy Plus Program, more than 17,000 pre-registration requests were received, the Ministry of Energy Affairs said in a release on its website.

According to the announcement, the sponsor will decide on the approval of all pre-registrations within 15 working days. Applicants can then nominate the three possible contractors, from which they can choose based on their offers received through the system.

The HUF 75 billion Solar Power Plus Program offers non-refundable support to private individuals with their own residential property to supply their buildings with renewable energy.
