Several, predominantly technical modifications were made to the call for tenders for the program supporting the installation of modern solar systems, the Ministry of Energy Affairs said in a release on its website.

In line with the expected payback time, the total duration of the system, product, and contractor guarantees will be 10 years. Among other things, the new elements state that the standardization and phase expansion of the measuring site can be accounted for at a maximum value of HUF 600,000.

The contractor's job is made easier by the fact that their subcontractors do not need to register separately.

In the program, which opens in mid-January, up to HUF 5 million can be obtained for a property for the joint installation of solar panels and battery storage. By encouraging the production and storage of green energy, the government aims to help families to reduce their electricity bills.
