CWP Europe unit to build 150 MW PV plant in Zaječar, Serbia

Belgrade-based Solarina, a unit of Luxembourg-based renewable energy developer CWP Europe, will build a photovoltaic (PV) power plant with a capacity of 150 MW (megawatt) in Serbia's eastern city of Zaječar, the local authorities said reported news portal SeeNews.

The power plant, comprising three units, will be built on a 413 hectares land plot, a detailed plan, which the city of Zaječar put up for public review, showed.

The capacity of the individual solar panels will be determined at a later stage.

Citizens can deliver until March 14 remarks and questions about the project, which the city urbanization commission will review on March 23.
