MOL Romania retail sales up 16% in H1

Retail sales of fuels and lubricants at the Romanian unit of Hungarian oil and gas company MOL rose 16% in the first half of this year, as compared to the same period a year earlier, the company said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Retail sales reached 311,000 tons, with diesel sales growing 16% to 223,000 tons and petrol sales rising 13% to 78,000 tons, according to the report. The company says it now has more than 200 petrol stations and its market share reached 15% last year.
