Farm gate prices up 46% y.o.y. in April

Farmgate price growth in Hungary continued to accelerate in April, reaching 46% compared to the same month of 2021, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

Crop prices climbed 49% and the price of livestock and animal products increased 37%.

Grain prices rose 65% and vegetable prices were up 24%, but fruit prices fell 8%.
