Áder discusses cooperation in South Korea
Hungary’s President János Áder (pictured) has proposed the establishment of a joint Hungarian and South Korean fund, which would support the two countries’ SMEs to enter each other’s markets, the president said today after a meeting with South Korean President Park Geun-hye.
The presidents discussed cooperation between the two countries in the fields of science and Áder noted that this cooperation could be expanded into areas of environmental protection, water management and information technology. The cooperation is being supported by the recently established National Research, Development and Innovation Office, he added.
The Hungarian president also proposed the launch of a direct flight between Seoul and Budapest in the interest of boosting tourism and business ties, a proposal which was welcomed by the South Korean president.
Áder is scheduled to travel to Mongolia today.
