Middle East dining with Anissa Helou at Globalist Kitchen
Hungarian fine-dining series the Globalist Kitchen is presenting an outstanding figure of Middle Eastern cuisine, Anissa Helou, at its next event, according to globalistakonyha.com.

Helou will cook hummus, mujaddara and tabbouleh for mezze, marinated lamb with Emirati biryani for the main dish, and baklava for dessert. Her cuisine gives a deeper insight not only into the Arab world and the north Mediterranean but Asia and Africa as well, telling a story of migration, communication, conquest and the influence of these factors on eating habits.
Helou is one of the most influential women in the Arabic word; she stars in many English and American cooking shows, and in 2018 she published her new, ninth cooking book, entitled “Feast.” The book was listed among 2018’s best cookbooks by The New Yorker.
Helou cooks this January 24-25 from 7 p.m. at Bazaar Eclectica, located at Ybl Miklós tér 4 in District 1. Entrance is HUF 18,900. Tickets are available via the globalistakonyha.com website here.
