Wooshin Medics to open €6 million pharma plant/R&D lab

South Korea-based Wooshin Medics will build a €6 million pharmaceuticals plant and research and development laboratory in Székesféhervár, CEO Tack-Soo Nam stated today.

The investment will create 50 jobs, according to Nam, and the plant is expected to start operating in 2015.

Foreign Trade State Secretary Péter Szijjártó said South Korean companies had invested more than €2 billion in Hungary. In total, 66 South Korean enterprises employ more than 22,000 people in Hungary, according to ministry statistics.
