Magyar Telekom’s revenue was practically flat at HUF 241.3 bln, according to news wire MTI.

Direct costs fell 2% to HUF 87.4 bln, lifting gross profit 2% to HUF 153.9 bln.

Indirect costs fell 18% to HUF 44.5 bln as the supplementary telco tax was phased out.

Operating profit increased 19% to HUF 73 bln.

CAPEX after leases increased 4% to HUF 27.7 bln.

Magyar Telekom affirmed full-year guidance for 1-3% revenue growth, but bumped up guidance for adjusted net income from around HUF 190 bln to “at least HUF 200 bln”.
