The National Office for Research, Development, and Innovation (NKFIH), the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM), and the Ministry of Finance have signed a cooperation agreement to support research and development and innovation, as this area plays a crucial role in developing the Hungarian economy, State Secretary for the Use of EU Funds Balázs Rákossy said at a press conference in Budapest.

Rákossy added that the agreement stipulates the division of tasks related to the European Union funds that can be used for research development purposes.

Between 2014 and 2020, HUF 550 billion of European Union funds were available for research and development purposes; in the cycle between 2021 and 2027, almost HUF 600 bln will be designated for the same purpose

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
