CYX Develops Air Purifier in HUF 1 bln R&D Project

CYX has developed an air purifier that prevents the spread of coronavirus in the framework of a close to HUF 1 billion project, the company said on Monday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

CYX was awarded almost HUF 0.7 bln in conditional European Union and state support for the project.

Production capacity for the compact CYX-Air devices is being established in Dunavecse and the air purifiers are expected to launch commercially in Q2 2023.

Hungarian-owned CYX had net revenue of HUF 1.5 bln in 2021, public records show.
