The biggest rebound after 2023 was shown by the capital’s real estate market. According to the current outlook, an even greater recovery is expected in the capital city next year.
Last year, almost every fourth real estate buyer was a young person under 35. In the capital, their share was lower than the national average, but in the villages, every third apartment was bought by a young person.
Next year, young buyers may develop more momentum thanks to subsidies. The number of foreign customers decreased last year, but they still have a significant share in Lake Balaton and downtown Budapest.
Customers from Germany, Russia, China, Vietnam, and Israel have a considerable weight in these regions.
