In the central districts of the capital, resale home prices fell to around HUF 787,000 per sqm in Q1 from HUF 852,000 in the same period a year earlier.
In other districts on the Pest side of the Danube, resale home prices slipped to HUF 612,000 from HUF 645,000 per sqm.
On the leafy Buda side of the capital, resale home prices continued to climb, reaching HUF 859,000 per sqm from HUF 795,000 in Q1 2020.
The price data do not include homes in pre-fabricated Socialist era developments.
