The survey, conducted quarterly, suggests some 840,000 homes could be renovated in the next twelve months, 44,000 fewer than the number suggested by the previous survey, but 260,000 more than that indicated by the survey conducted in the same period a year earlier.
Around 4.3% of respondents said they were "certain" to renovate and 16.5% said they would "probably" renovate in the next year.
