Around 6,000 homes are currently under construction in 254 development projects, but the number of new projects launched in Q1 reached just 39, Otthon Centrum said.
Most development projects are in cities with populations of more than 100,000: 49 are in Debrecen (225 km east of Budapest), 32 in Szeged (175 km southeast), and 23 in Pécs (195 km southwest), it added.
