The average number of days properties spent on the market continued to decrease, even as demand softened from its August peak.

In Budapest, the days on market indicator for apartments in centrally located brick buildings on the Pest side dropped to 80 days from 114 a year earlier, while homes in communist-era pre-fabricated blocks sold in 61 days, down from 70.

Outside the capital, brick homes sold in an average of 106 days, down from 150, while the figure for pre-fab homes declined to 71 days from 91.
