In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates edged down 0.7% nationwide – falling for the first time in two years – and slipped 0.9% in Budapest.
The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 207,000 in the second half. In the west of the country, a flat could be rented for HUF 147,000 per month.
