In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates climbed 1.8% nationwide and edged up 0.6% in Budapest.
The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 207,000 in the second quarter. A home in a large city in the west of the country could be rented for HUF 147,000/month.
