Home Rental Rates in Hungary Rise 11.7% in March

Home rental rates in Hungary rose 11.7% year-on-year in March, data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show.

Rental rates in the capital increased 12.4%.

In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates edged up 0.8% for the whole country and climbed 1.8% in Budapest.

The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 235,000 in H2 2023. A home in a large city in the west of the country could be rented for HUF 170,000/month.
