Based on July statistics, 17-18% of inherited properties were sold in Budapest and the countryside, which is a decrease of 3 and 8 percentage points, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
In Budapest, the dispersion was larger, 13-26%, but less were divested from their inherited property than in the countryside.
The main reason for this is that the value of apartments in the capital is much higher, so they offer an ideal long-term investment opportunity.
