The representative survey, conducted in May, shows that 12.4% of households will "probably" use the subsidies to renovate.
The changes in the ratios compared to the previous quarter when the survey was conducted were within the margin of error.
Under a two-year scheme launched at the start of 2021, the government is offering to cover up to half of home renovation costs, with a grant capped at HUF 3 million, for families with at least one child.
Families may take out a subsidized loan to cover the other half of project costs.
