MBH Bank to Build New Headquarters in Budapest

MBH Bank will build its new headquarters in Budapest's District XIII, the bank said on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The building is scheduled to be completed by early 2026. 

MBH said its unit Domo Kft signed a sale and purchase contract to buy the 13,000 sqm plot of land on the corner of Róbert Károly krt and Váci út, near the headquarters of Raiffeisen Bank, Erste Bank, and OTP Bank.

MBH Bank would not reveal any financial details of the investment to MTI. 

MBH, now Hungary's second-biggest commercial bank, has a gross lending stock of around HUF 5 tln. The stock of client deposits is more than HUF 6.4 tln.
