Icon Becomes Operator of BudaPart Downtown

Office Market

In addition to BudaPart City, Icon Real Estate Management's experts are now also operating BudaPart DownTown in the South Buda complex, meaning that more than 8,500 sqm of prime office space has been added to the portfolio of the real estate operation and management company.

"We are proud of one of the latest additions to our property management portfolio, the BudaPart DownTown office building. For the developer, sustainability was a primary consideration in the design of the building, and ICON is an expert partner in operating the building with this in mind: we pay particular attention to optimizing energy consumption and costs, and minimizing the building's ecological footprint," said Róbert Flück, director of facility management at Icon Real Estate Management.

In addition to the Well-certified Corvin 5 office building, Icon is also responsible for the management of the premium quality A+ Roosevelt office building in the city center. Apart from paying special attention to the importance of the ratings, Icon places a high priority on ensuring that the properties it manages are operated in accordance with ESG criteria, the company tells the Budapest Business Journal.

Icon's experts have almost two years of experience in serving the BudaPart City office building, meaning that they know the local characteristics of the building and can provide solutions to frequently occurring problems faster and easier.

The company's local experts help owners and tenants of BudaPart DownTown with advice, process demonstrations, and warranty support. Both the new BudaPart DownTown and the BudaPart City office building are mixed-function buildings, so the technical service of the property requires a novel, holistic approach, taking into account the different needs of tenants with different functions.

The office complex is the fourth phase of the largest real estate investment in Budapest, further strengthening the role of the BudaPart project in the office market of the "Buda Business District". The ten-story building, operated by Icon, comprises a gross leasable area of 8,548 sqm of office space, with retail space available on the ground floor.
