Swedish Company 1st Tenant of LogiCube Park

Logistics

Bufab Hungary Kft., a member of the Swedish-based Bufab Group has signed a lease contract for nearly 2,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in Biatorbágy's LogiCube Park, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The first phase of the 21,000 sqm logistics park, which will be built in four phases, is on schedule for completion in the last quarter of 2022. The next, second phase of the park developed by Defactoring Zrt., is in the planning stage and the pre-sale of the space has already started.

LogiCube Park will offer sustainable warehouses along with high-quality office space, primarily for small and medium-sized enterprises. Construction of the greenfield project, which launched in 2015, started in 2021. Built in four phases, the park's facilities will offer between 1,000 and 7,500 sqm of rentable "A" class warehouse and office space, as well as internal parking for tenants.

As part of its expansion, Bufab Group was looking for a location close to Budapest, which is easily accessible by motorways and public transport. The company will lease nearly 1,500 sqm of warehouse space and more than 380 sqm of office space in Building B.

"We are very pleased to have found the perfect location for our new Hungarian branch in a relatively short time, which was needed for our expansion. In addition to sustainability aspects (e.g. solar panels, green facade), our need for office space linked to warehouse space, flexible technical specifications and good accessibility were all in favor of LogiCube Park," said András Erdélyi, managing director of Bufab Hungary Kft.

"During the design phase, we placed great emphasis on energy-efficient solutions, which, among many other benefits, was a key consideration for our new client. The joint rental of warehouse and office space is an ideal solution for us, so we are particularly pleased that our first tenant has chosen this construction", said Olivér Nagy, CEO of Defactoring Zrt. "There is a strong interest in the development, the lease negotiations continue, in which 108 Agency is our exclusive partner".
