Gebrüder Weiss announces HUF 12 bln expansion in Hungary
Austrian-owned forwarding and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss on Wednesday said it will invest HUF 12 billion at bases in Hungary.
Gebrüder Weiss regional head Thomas Schauer said the company will build a HUF 2 bln warehouse in Győr and a HUF 10 bln warehouse in Dunaharaszti, on the outskirts of the capital. Gebrüder Weiss will add another 22,000 sqm of warehouse and office space to the existing 23,000 sqm in Dunaharaszti, he added.
The company will start operating bases in Zalaegerszeg and Pécs in June, bringing its total number of bases in Hungary to six.
