Wienerberger merges local paving stone, brick units

Semmelrock Stein+Design, the Hungarian paving stone unit of Austrian building materials group Wienerberger, has merged with Wienerberger's local brick business Wienerberger Téglapiari, Wienerberger said on Wednesday, according to a report by news agency MTI.

The annual turnover of the merged companies, together with group member PipeLife Hungaria, will exceed HUF 50 billion.

Wienerberger has 10 plants at eight bases in Hungary. It employs close to 1,000 people.
