Houses could remain unfinished due to material costs

Construction

There has been a drastic rise in the price of building materials over the past year, but the phenomenon is affecting home renovators and those building their own houses much more than large investors, writes profitline.hu.

Zoltán Gadanecz, the founding owner of GDN Real Estate Network, said that while large companies can reschedule their orders, individuals building real estate for themselves are not always able to obtain new sources, so the whole project becomes more expensive.

According to the expert, there will be those who therefore stop construction or, for financial reasons, can only complete it much later than originally planned.
