Prezi CEO wins European business award

Hungarian presentation software developer Prezi's co-founder and CEO Péter Árvai was granted the European Web Entrepreneur of the Year award at the WebSummit – the world's leading internet conference – in Dublin yesterday. The award is issued by the European Commission and the Hub Institute, the co-founders of the award.

This is the first time that a Hungarian entrepreneur was granted the prestigious award.

The European Commission established the award with the Hub Institute and Deloitte Consulting to recognize new European entrepreneurs and enterprises that have develop innovative digital solutions or services.

Prezi, was founded by three young Hungarians in 2009 and currently has more than 45 mln users worldwide and head offices in San Francisco and Budapest. Its software is available in English, Hungarian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and Korean.
